I can not tell you where it comes from, but I advise you to find out by contacting the seller, and ensure that it is truly an antique. 0952 from what I know is the name of Sterling Mexico. They have a better quality of money the law permits elsewhere in North America. If I'm assuming that if that's all he said, it is manufactured in North America from Europe and the United Kingdom since before the 1970s it was common to simply stamp "/ fine quality silver" instead of the 0925 standard North American manufacturers. In addition, it should be noted that there is no standard when it comes to silver tableware.
