Collectibles: What is the end of Copeland Spode China model would include these symbols?

A griffin, a purple flower, an oil lamp and a lily. Are the symbols of a specific organization, club or public office (British, Canadian or American)? I found a set vintage Copeland Spode China with this model. I can not find a reference image or anything that resembles this model. China is about 1927. Any help would be appreciated.

Although I do not know about your specific model, I can offer information. It is possible if the chin was made by Copeland Spode, it may have been supplied in white and decorated by a specific retailer or individual. This often been done by manufacturers of porcelain, however, most often in the 19th century. Many parts on the market are manufactured by companies renowned for a thriving cottage industry of china painters. For more details on your model you can check your local library for resources. Kovel books are often instructive in this regard. You can even find some books specifically referencing Copeland-Spode. I'm sorry I can not be more helpful.
