I need help with Leonardo Da Vinci?

I am doing this research project and I have some questions.PLease answer.
1.Who influenced Da Vinci? Or inspired him?
2.We need to make little memorabilias(means like a kind of thing or souvineer that relates to him. Eg. A small Mona Lisa pic, but I want other memorabilia ideas.
3.Did Mona Lisa know Da Vinci before he started painting and becoming famous?

1.)Verrocchio

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verrocchio

2.) Build a model plane. It is actually pretty easy to build one with rice paper and straws.

3) ‘We’ are not even sure who she is. All names given to the painting are pure speculation as to her identity.
But it is reasonable to assume that Da Vinci painted her because she (or he family/husband) commissioned a portrait from her. He already was very famous at that time.
