Is the Traynor YGM-3 a good guitar amp?
It is from the 70's, and comes with 3 preamp tubes and 2 power amp tubes. They are vintage tubes Phillip. Play mainly rock, indie, and occasionally some things distorted. Traynor amps are Canadian made, and I'm thinking because age, have a good classic tone. I will also be very collectible. The person who is selling for $ 400 but is negotiable. Put and Eminence speaker in it, but also gives me the standard Marsland one too. Is this a good investment, both for the music aspect and resale.
I do not think I pay $ 400 for that …… maybe $ 270. It is a classic, but remember, you can buy a brand new box, Peavey, Marshall, or Fender for $ 400. Sure that nothing is burned at the Traynor amp if you buy it. They make great amps, and have always existed. Steve Miller Band uses them.
