What is a good fishing pole?
My dad has a Person323 sail boat. I love to go fishing of it and my dad uses his father’s father’s fishing pole from 1890′s or something like that and I am so afraid it is going to break and I wanna keep it as a memorabilia. So with that being said I need to get him a new pole but I don’t know what to get since I have never fished in big areas like the Chesapeake bay or the Atlantic ocean where you can catch really really really big fishies.
Any and all help would be great but I need it to be under $30…..Please and Thank you!!!!!
I live on the west coast but when I fish saltwater for the sharks and bat rays I use a miniumum med/heavy to heavy fishing rod and reel .Lenght would be 6-6 to 7-4 ft, but it depends on your dad , good choice on preserving history
Zebco and Southbend sell rods that of that type for 20-30 bucks. You could find them in K or Walmart, Big R , or Big 5 , however almost any sporting good store has them
