Do you have sports memorabilia good future investment or should I put on CDs or stocks?

I love collecting and displaying memorabilia signed in my room. But friends think it's wasteful. told me to just put all that money and put it on CDs or stocks. I also signed Mr. Jordan UDA jersey I bought for $ 1,000, roughly how much it costs in about 20-25yrs from now?
