AC/DC: Let There Be Rock (Limited Collector’s Edition) [Blu-ray] $29.99 Two generations of AC/DC freaks have come of age since Let There Be Rock, but while the band has done just fine, thank you, with Brian Johnson as its lead singer, there are those who still consider the late Bon Scott to be the real AC/DC front man. Star Trek: The Original Series – Season 3 [Blu-ray] $62.95 Saved from the brink of cancellation by its loyal fanbase, Star Trek’s third and final season rewarded them with a number of memorable episodes. It is the day of the RAF and the army significantly different from modern standard the 1940 uniforms?
I go to a 1940 event where I would like dress like the RAF during the war or army officer. Obviously, it is important to look the part, but full uniforms breeding season is too expensive for me (at least 200 pounds to 300). Do I seem very out of place if I was in uniform modern surplus store (probably cost around £ 50)? Is it very different?
Most critical in the service uniforms of the Second World War changed drastically reduce production times and save resources for the war and the landing in a bind. Some aspects of the uniform has changed significantly, while others do not. Uniform for different services are different combinations of numbers in the teens for different occasions. Finally, each regiment in the Army still retains many of its own traditions, while the RAF has fewer assets and have a uniform standard. ceremonial uniforms (Costume Gala No. 1) hardly changed at all with over time. These uniforms generally involve a lot to adapt and are quite expensive. This is the only part of British army uniforms have remained practically the same. For the RAF No. 1 Dress is the equivalent of two army number of clothing which is known as "Service Dress" and while holding no changes in design before the Second World War was not a regular piece of evenly between 1940 and 1960 for the Army. Meanwhile, if you want to replicate the work of field and dress about 1940 would be somewhat different. Soldiers in uniform carrying a battle called missing until 1960, when it was replaced by a No. 2. type uniform and the type of battle dress uniform, known as PDA (disruptive pattern material). All this is terribly simple. As with anything in military things become unnecessarily complex. There are about 15 different ways of dressing in the Army and another 15 or so forms of dress for the RAF, not to mention of the sub categories of the uniform. Now I think you can probably get away with 1,960 battle dress find vintage for the British army or to harvest 1973 for the RAF. As far as I'm aware of the RAF did not adopt dress No. 2 service until much later work.
